All caregivers are required to complete at least 24 clock hours of training in child development each year. In addition, all staff is CPR and First Aide trained. Van Drivers have to have 2 addition hours of training in transportation. Before being allowed to work with children, all new employees must have a background history check and fingerprinting documentation on file and 24 hours of pre-service training.

OWNERS

Jack and Penny Payne

Jack grew up on a farm near Hutto with his five brothers. He is a master electrician and has run BJ Electric for over 30 yrs.

Penny grew up in Houston but moved to Austin as a young adult. She has been a real estate agent for 25 years and is fluent in American Sign Language.

Jack & Penny have 4 grown children and 5 beautiful grandchildren. They enjoy caring for their farm animals and their one hundred year old Pfluger Pfarm home.

Jack & Penny Payne bought Kinder Haus from Dennis & Karolyn Graf in September 2013. The Paynes strive to continue the high quality child care experience that was established and nurtured by the Grafs. Jack & Penny believe strongly in family and they believe that every child deserves a safe and loving setting in which to learn and grown.

Glenda Loeve

  • 1986 to present – 33 years
  • Director since 2003.
  • Glenda has a license from the Professional Administrator National Credentialing from Texas Department of Family Protective Services.

Robin Heine

  • 1992 to present – 27 years
  • Director since 2017.
  • Robin has a license from Shade Tree Learning.

They both maintain a minimum of 30 clock hours of continuing education each year.
